My SIL

My SIL SK

My sister-in-law (SIL) SK. is 5 years my junior. I am her eldest brother's wife. She has opted for voluntary retirement, almost 2 & 1/2 years before time, from a very cosy nationalised bank job.

As her last working days were approaching, I was just reflecting...

One could say her life has been quite successful and satisfying... Her journey as a daughter, sister, wife, daughter-in-law, mother, aunt, mother-in-law, and now grandmother is very insightful, intriguing, fascinating and inspiring. At work, I am told that she was efficient, effective and amiable as well.

Her voluntary retirement is also well-timed... She can now have all the time in the world to play with and pamper her grand daughter who is a one year old cute little doll.

Her daughter has completed her education, has started working and is of right age for marriage. So she can utilise her energy and efforts to hunt for a suitable match (if her daughter doesn't hook someone herself) and whole heartedly go about the wedding arrangements, etc.

I wish her all the best for the next phase of her life. May it be very joyful giving her all the happiness she deserves.
